Crew members and passengers aboard a Delta flight leaving Los Angeles stopped an attempted hijacking Friday afternoon.
The flight was headed to Nashville but had to be diverted to Albuquerque for an emergency landing after a male passenger tried to break into the cockpit.

Delta crew members and male passengers were seen wrestling with the suspect.
The suspect was dragged to the back of the plane.

According to reports, airport police took the suspect into custody upon landing in Albuquerque and turned him over to the FBI.
